John James Curved Needles. John James 4" Curved Needles 16 Gauge. Curved Needles are extremely useful and widely used to make pelmets and in the upholstery trades as well as across a range of craft work. They are excellent for slip stitching and attatching beads. The length or full curved length of the needle is measured from the top of the needle, around the curve to the point. The higher the gauge (thickness/diameter) the finer the needle.
